Misibis Bay holds a special place in my heart because this is one of the few vacations I have taken with my family. Living such busy and separate lives, it’s great to just unwind and spend time with people you love the most. On our previous trip to Misibis Bay, we booked a family villa decked out with a king size bed, classic decors and a huge to pool waiting for you
This was also the time I started falling in love with blogging and documenting my daily life. Besides, how can you not take photos at a resort as picturesque as Misibis Bay, right? 4 years later, I got an invite from Misibis Bay to experience their newly opened Pacific Ocean View Wing. Thrilled and excited, I did not bat an eyelash and said yes right away. Prior to the trip, I was really excited to reunite with one of my favorite places in the country.
I often go to Bicol with my family via a car (since my uncle is based there) but this was the first time I got to see the perfect shape of Mount Mayon from the airplane window. It was extra special because I got to take David with me for this trip! He was clueless about Misibis Bay so I was pretty excited to show him around. From the Legazpi airport, we were picked up by the friendly staff of Misibis Bay. From there, it would take you an hour to get to the resort itself.
We checked-in at the newly opened Pacific Ocean View Wing. It’s a mid rise building away from all the private villas of the resort, but I personally liked it because it is near the main lobby, the pool and the of course, the buffet area! Haha! The new wing screams young and modern—just how I like it. The rooms are white, with beige curtains, rattan headboards and lamps, clean and comfy sheets, a bathtub in the middle of the room + they even leave you with a bayong for you to use and keep after your stay. I though it was pure genius.
Each room has a complimentary banig bag that you can use during your stay.
The resort is huge and you’ll need to ride this golf cart to go around the area. Just call at the reception to request for it and in 5 – 10 minutes, your service will be waiting for you outside your room.
Mornings like this!
You can leave me in the tub the whole day.
I don’t think you guys know this but I am quite the adventure-seeker. I am pretty much up for anything! Misibis Bay offers a bunch of different activities such as ATV, jet ski, kayaking, paddle boarding and a sunset cruise. Of course we tried the watersports activities!
Misibis Bay may seem intimidating for the average Filipino traveler, but with the new Pacific Ocean View Wing, you don’t have to worry about spending a fortune here. They offer rooms as affordable as 7,000+, which is pretty reasonable given that you have access to all the amenities of the resort.
